THE BUZZ: THQ has released a new trailer for Darksiders 2, focusing on Death.

EGM’s TAKE: If you want to keep a game fresh, what better way than completely changing the lead character. Luckily for Vigil Games the change comes naturally since the series is about the four horsemen of the apocalypse. This time out Death takes center stage as he searches for answers behind his brother War’s (the protagonist of the first game) false imprisonment. This means a whole new lead character for players, with new abilities, skills and personality, without any of the constraint of having to explain how or why the main character suddenly developed these new tricks. Vigil is on to a good thing with Darksiders to and if it can repeat the success of the first then THQ will be very happy.
