A patch for Darksiders II is in the works for both the PC and console versions of the game which should fix a number of bugs that players have been encountering.

The PC version of the patch will include several fixes for bugs which have prevented players from progressing in the game and also adds a number of requested features such as v-sync updates, improved shadow map resolution, X-axis options, and keyboard mapping options.

On the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 the patch will contain the same progression bug fixes as the PC version. Vigil warned that the patch approval process can take some time so fans may have to wait a few weeks to receive it.
