Darksiders III officially has a release date, and the wait won’t be much longer.
The upcoming hack-and-slash game was revealed a little over a year ago, but we didn’t have much information on the actual game. Now, in both an update on PlayStation Blog and in an interview with IGN, the release details of the game have been unveiled. Darksiders III is set to launch on November 27th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The news came alongside a new trailer, which shows off Fury in her Flame form for the first time.
Preorders for the game are now open, and there are several different options to choose from. The standard option, which comes with the regular game and a PS4 theme, costs $59.99. A Deluxe Edition, available on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store for $71.99, contains two DLC packs, which will release after the game ships. According to PlayStation Blog, the specific contents of this pack are currently “secret.” For fans who want to get into all the past games, a Blades & Whip edition packs in Darksiders Warmastered Edition and Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition alongside Darksiders III for $89.99.
If you’re willing to pay a more, though, you can get some crazy collector’s items. The Collector’s Edition of the game costs $149.99 and comes with the game, an 11-inch figurine of Fury, a premium box, a steelbook, an artbook, the soundtrack, and cosmetic armor DLC. If you have a lot of cash and really want to go all-out, the Apocalypse Edition of the game comes with all of the above, as well as a (different) premium box, a 30″ x 40″ wall scroll, an amulet, and three additional 10″ tall figurines: War, Death, and Vulgrim. You can see all of these goodies in a video from THQ Nordic below.
Additionally, anyone who preorders any version of the game will unlock the Fury armor DLC, described as “a completely original skin for Fury’s base armor that will set her apart and always be visible during gameplay.”
Preorders are open today, and the game itself will arrive on store shelves on November 27th.
