Dauntless, the upcoming co-op monster hunting game from Phoenix Labs, will now launch for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via the Epic Games Store in summer 2019, the developer announced.
The game, which is currently in open beta on PC, was originally scheduled to arrive in April 2019. The developer stated that it will use this extra development time “to polish gameplay, stress-test for scale, and complete additional features.”
As previously announced, Dauntless will support cross-platform play and progression between Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Epic Games Store when it launches.
In other news, the developer introduced the Boreus, a frost-powered Behemoth that can summon three distinct minion types to aid it, to the currently ongoing open beta today. In addition, Hunt Pass Season 3: Overgrowth has arrived, which is a Fortnite-style Battle Pass that runs from March 13th through April 16th and gives players the chance to earn a full set of Farslayer gear, new emotes, epic flares, and more.
Dauntless is also in development for Nintendo Switch and mobile.
