The upcoming beta test for Dead Island 2 will be available exclusively on PlayStation 4 for 30 days, Deep Silver has revealed.

According to an FAQ on the beta site, players with a beta code who select PlayStation 4 as their platform of choice will be able to access the beta 30 days before Xbox One and PC owners. Players who pick up a copy of Escape Dead Island on PS3, Xbox 360, or PC will be granted automatic beta access.

A start date for the beta is yet to be announced, but Deep Silver said that access codes will be sent to participants two weeks before it begins.

Dead Island 2 is set to launch in April 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
