Pre-orders for Dead Island: Riptide will net players day one downloadable content, publisher Deep Silver announced today.

The Survivor Pack includes the BBQ Blade (sharp thing + fuel tanks = fiery sword), an XP stat booster, and a discount shop for weapons and items.

In the U.K., pre-orders through GAME come with The Fashion Victim, which includes skins for the Dead Island’s playable characters.

Dead Island: Riptide shambles its way onto Xbox 360, PS3, and PC April 23 in North America and April 26 in Europe. Both DLC packs will be available for purchase when the game launches. The Survivor Pack will cost 400 Microsoft Points, The Fashion Victim will cost 160.
