Dead Island’s ‘Bloodbath Arena’ DLC Gets Release Date

THE BUZZ: For those who pre-ordered Dead Island, the game’s DLC release “Bloodbath Arena” was promised as a free download for September. Unfortunately, September came and went, and the DLC never showed up.
The reason? Dead Island‘s developer, Techland, needed the time to instead work on fixing up and polishing the main game itself. Now, however, Bloodbath Arena is finally coming next week, when the DLC launches on November 22nd.
Bloodbath Arena is one of those now-popular “Horde” modes, where waves of enemies will need to be survived alone or with friends in one of four arenas. Not only will this mode have its own online leaderboards, but some of the progress made can be transferred over to the main storyline campaign portion of Dead Island.
If you didn’t pre-order Dead Island, you can still pick up Bloodbath Arena on the PS3, Xbox 360, or PC for $10.
