Dead Rising 3‘s Operation Broken Eagle DLC has suffered a small delay from its initially announced December 27 release date, Capcom has announced.
The DLC will now be available from January 21, 2014 to allow time for Capcom to add extra polish to the content. “Adding new content to the massive open world of Los Perdidos is a major undertaking, and to ensure we provide the best possible experience for players, we are putting a few additional weeks of polish and testing into the episode before it’s released. Stay tuned for additional updates,” the publisher explained.
Operation Broken Eagle puts players in the role of Spec Ops commander Adam Kane, who has been tasked with locating the President of the United States. The DLC includes five new weapons, a new combo weapon, a new vehicle, an outfit, and additional Achievements. Experience earned in Operation Broken Eagle will be carried back to the original game.
The DLC is the first of four planned add-ons for the game and will cost $9.99. It will be free for owners of the Dead Rising 3 season pass, which costs $29.99.
