It’s looking like Dead Rising 4‘s exclusivity for Xbox One and Windows 10 will be timed, and reports say that the game may come to PlayStation 4 next year.
The game’s developer, Capcom Vancouver, confirmed in a tweet that Dead Rising 4 will be playable “first on Xbox One and Windows 10,” which is usually a sign of timed exclusivity.
Freelance journalist Ryan Brown said in a tweet that an unnamed Capcom representative told him that Dead Rising 4 will be a timed exclusive for one year. Though the statement far from confirms the agreement, this wouldn’t be the first time a game has been limited to Xbox One for a full year. Rise of the Tomb Raider released November 2015 and won’t be available on Sony systems until the end of this year.
Dead Rising 4‘s launch date has yet to be officially announced, but a recent leak says that the game will be available for Xbox One and Windows 10 on December 6th.
