Deep Down producer Kazunori Sugiura has revealed that details on the long awaited public beta test for the PlayStation 4 exclusive will be revealed in July, and to ease the pain he also released a new screenshot.

Details on the public beta test are likely to come in July,” he wrote on Twitter. “There’s no excuse, as everyone was looking forward to the information. Rather than development circumstances, we’re discussing with the higher ups the policies for the beta test.”

Kazunori also offered a new screenshot of the game (above), as an apology, that shows off a dungeon themed after feelings of “Anger.”

During E3, Capcom released a new gameplay trailer for the game that you can watch here.

Deep Down is currently scheduled to release later this year in Japan as a free-to-play title, but a western release is still yet to be confirmed.
