The first look at Destiny 2‘s gameplay during the upcoming reveal event will also be the first look at the shooter running on PC.
Invites recently went out for the Destiny 2 gameplay reveal event, taking place on May 18th. The invites include some new information about the event, and YouTuber Skill Up let other gamers in on details through a Reddit post and accompanying video.
General scheduling and embargo details for the event are covered by the invitations, as well as hands-on information confirming that there will be both console and PC versions available for play. It is currently unclear if one or both console versions will be playable. Footage capture will be permitted, according to Skill Up, but specific capture restrictions have yet to be detailed.
The Los Angeles–based gameplay reveal event begins with a keynote at 10 a.m. PT on May 18th, and fans can tune into the official livestream, presumably around the same time, to finally see Destiny 2 in action. Directly following the keynote, invitees will get hands-on for the rest of the day, and fans will be able to check out all the new details here on EGMNOW.
Destiny 2 is slated to launch September 8th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Gamers can stay up-to-date on the upcoming shooter by following EGM’s extensive guide to everything Destiny 2.
