In an effort to make Destiny 2 more welcoming to newcomers, Bungie is introducing a new feature: the Milestone tab.

A few weeks ago, game director Luke Smith revealed that the game will have a single “button” that will guide casual players towards the most relevant content, and it seems that the Milestone tab is the official appearance of this feature. When players are overwhelmed with choices, or only have a short time to play and want to know what activity will get them the biggest reward for their time, the Milestone tab is one click away to point them in the right direction.

“If you see an activity on a destination, that’s because you haven’t done it yet,” said project lead Mark Noseworthy, describing how the Milestone tab will work (via GameRant). “You can do it. Great. It’s like Whack-A-Mole. Just get it done. And that will be in your Milestone tray. These are the things you can pull up at any point, and it’ll tell you ‘Hey, the next most important things to do are this. You don’t need to do them, but if you do them, this is the tier of reward that you’re going to get.”

In other words, if you’re seeking to raise your Light level or find a Legendary drop, then you can take a quick glance at your Milestones to see where to go for the reward you want.

Destiny 2 releases on September 6th on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and on October 24th for the PC.
