Destiny

Once again, Bungie has partnered up with Rockstar Energy Drink to bring a new competition full of sweet prizes to Destiny 2 players.

Known as the Rockstar Riots, this sweepstakes includes weekly in-game challenges across several different game modes, as well as the chance to earn weekly prizes through redeemable codes on the new Destiny 2–themed Rockstar Energy Drinks. The whole event is now live until December 1st.

First up, according to a tweet from the official Destiny account, the entire in-game competition will be split into challenges that will require Guardians to compete in Crucible, Strike, or Gambit activities from week to week. Week one has already ended, but right now, players that compete in Strikes can raise their rank in time for next week’s Gambit activities.

Players can sign up on the Rockstar Riots site, which also includes a calendar of the weekly events. The final week will pit the top 600 players against one another to see who will earn one of four spots in the live finals. Once the top four are chosen, they’ll be flown to Bungie’s headquarters to participate in a final live match that will be streamed on Twitch. The best of the best will earn some pretty great prizes, such as Destiny 2 clothing, Bungie store gift cards, headsets, gaming chairs, or even the grand prize of a Forsaken-inspired Slingshot Roadster. Check out the custom ride below.

Guardians that aren’t as into the competitive scene can still receive a few of the prizes, too. Every Destiny 2 Rockstar Energy Drink will have a special code that can be redeemed for in-game rewards or even some of the real-world goodies.

Destiny 2 is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Destiny 2 is giving away an energy drink–themed car

In case you were worried Destiny 2 wasn't extreme enough, this new contest with Rockstar Energy Drink should fix that.
