Destiny

Bungie has extended the Destiny 2 beta until July 25th.

The beta was officially scheduled to end yesterday evening, but has been extended until 6 p.m. PT tomorrow to allow for “additional service testing,” according to a tweet by Bungie’s customer support account.

Destiny 2‘s beta kicked off on July 18th for PlayStation 4 pre-order customers, before being opened up to Xbox One pre-orders on July 19th, and finally for everybody else on July 21st. The beta includes the game’s opening campaign mission, the Inverted Spire Strike, and two PvP modes.

Yesterday, Bungie opened up the game’s new social area called The Farm for one hour to test how it handled having lots of players in it.

Destiny 2 launches September 6th for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a PC release to follow on October 24th.
