Destiny

Just like the first game, Destiny 2 will offer players on PlayStation 4 some exclusive content for a limited time.

A version of yesterday’s announcement trailer posted to Sony’s official channel confirmed that there will be exclusive content on PlayStation 4 until fall 2018. The trailer adds that details about this exclusive content will be shared in the summer.

Activision and Sony have had a deal in place since the release of Destiny back in 2014, offering PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners timed exclusive access to Strikes, PvP maps, and weapons.

Yesterday, Bungie announced that the first gameplay of the sequel will be revealed on March 30th at 10 a.m. PT.

Destiny 2 is expected to launch this fall for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. A PC release is also rumored, but is yet to be officially confirmed by Activision or Bungie.
