Bungie has announced that Destiny 2‘s second Faction Rallies event will get underway on November 7th across all platforms.
The event will run until November 13th and features a number of changes that have been made to improve on the first iteration, including an increase in faction tokens from Strikes, a reduction in the tokens from Heroic Public Events, and a removal of faction tokens for destroying enemy resources.
“Strikes should feel more worthy of the time you invest in them,” senior designer Tim Williams explained. “We noticed that players felt Lost Sectors were useful, but disliked the fact that they couldn’t enjoy them with a fireteam, so we moved the faction tokens from the destructible items to the chest at the end of the activity. The destructibles will still be featured as a daily milestone and are still available to help your fireteam clear out the Lost Sector.”
As well as these changes, there are new weapons for players to earn from each faction. Take a look at them below:

There’s also an exclusive weapon for each faction that will only be added to the game for the winning faction, so pledge your allegiance to the one you want the most. New Monarchy get a sword, Future War Cult has a new fusion rifle, and Dead Orbit has a grenade launcher. Players who pledged allegiance to the winning faction can pick up the weapon for 1,000 glimmer, but everyone else will have to pay 50,000 glimmer for their disloyalty.
Destiny 2 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
