For Destiny 2 players wondering how Power level progression will work for those without access to the shooter’s current Annual Pass, Bungie has broken down the details.

In the latest This Week at Bungie blog post, the developer revealed that Season of the Forge’s new 650 Power level cap will not be exclusive to owners of the expansion. Instead, all Guardians that have Forsaken will be able to reach the new cap. However, it will take a little extra work.

While players with Black Armory and the Annual Pass will find more activities and loot that will quickly raise their Power level, Forsaken-only Guardians will have to work from the soft cap of 500. Bungie confirmed that Prime Engrams will drop more frequently for players under 550, but past that point, the more difficult endgame activities will be the place to earn better gear, such as raids or Gambit.

This is great news for players that haven’t decided whether or not they want to jump into the Annual Pass just yet. Of course, Bungie has provided some great incentives for those that do take the plunge, including a new raid—Scourge of the Past—that will be exclusive to Black Armory and have a Power level requirement of 640. For a look at the other perks that players will get in the upcoming seasons, check out the Annual Pass calendar below.

Destiny 2 is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
