In its latest weekly update, Bungie revealed that Destiny 2 will be updated for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X on December 5th.

“The holiday season is nigh, so you might be compiling your wish list,” the developer wrote. “The PlayStation 4 Pro and the Xbox One X are now both out there in the wild, and either of them would make a great gift – even if it’s one you buy for yourself. We’ve seen a lot of questions about whether or not Destiny 2 would scale to meet the potential of new hardware. On this festive occasion, the answer is ‘Yes!'”

According to the developer, the update will introduce support for high dynamic range (HDR) on both platforms, and support for a native 4K resolution on Xbox One One and adaptive 4K resolution on PlayStation 4 Pro.

On the same day as this update, Destiny 2‘s Curse of Osiris DLC and second season of content will arrive on all platforms, bringing with them new story missions, a new area to explore, new Crucible maps, new weapons and armor, and more.

Destiny 2 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
