Bungie has announced scheduled maintenance for Destiny 2 that will occur next week to deploy a new hotfix.

The maintenance is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, January 16th, 2018 at 8 a.m. PT, at which point players will no longer be able to log in to Destiny 2. Following this, at 9 a.m. PT, players who are still logged into the game will be kicked to the title screen. Maintenance is scheduled to end at 12 p.m. PT with the deployment of hotfix 1.1.1.3.

According to Bungie, this update will fully remove Curse of Osiris requirements from all seasonal content.

The developer recently outlined its plans for the game over the next few months, including a big change to the Eververse that will put more emphasis on earning rewards from in-game activities, instead of from Bright Engrams.

Destiny 2 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
