Bungie has heard fans’ complaints about Destiny 2‘s limited vault space, but storage sizes still won’t be getting any larger in the shooter’s upcoming expansion.
Since vault space was reduced between Destiny and Destiny 2, players have had a tough time fitting all their gear into storage. Responding to an inquiry about vault space on Twitter, Bungie’s community manager DeeJ gave the community little to work with, simply stating that the issue is “known.” This did not go over well with some fans, if we’re judging by the Twitter replies.
Vault Space is a known ask, and we will continue to make sure it is known.

Players will soon have even less space in their inventory, with the upcoming introduction of the new Masterworks weapon rarity. The new rarity was detailed in a recent developer blog post, alongside a tidal wave of other changes planned for the game, including the introduction of armor ornaments, changes to consumable uses, and more.
Destiny 2‘s first expansion, Curse of Osiris, is nearly upon us, dropping December 5th. GameSpot recently got hands-on with the expansion, and while it has some new things to offer, the overall impression sounded underwhelming, with an explorable zone that’s too small to support Sparrows.
