Destiny

The Destiny beta has returned from maintenance on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, and now Xbox 360 and Xbox One beta key holders can join in the fun.

The beta was supposed to be down slightly longer than it actually was, but nobody is going to complain about that. In an email sent to participants, the developer writes: “We know you’ve been waiting, so we’ve worked hard to finish our chores up early. You can download and play the Beta right now. Get in there. Break it. Tell us what you think. Share your experiences online.”

For those who are in the beta, be sure to jump in on July 26 at 2 p.m. PDT to take part in a special beta event that will reward participants with an exclusive emblem that can be carried over to the final game. The beta will officially end July 28 on all four platforms.

Destiny is set launch September 9 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
