Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut Getting Multiplatform Release

Posted on June 11, 2013 AT 02:48pm

Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut is no longer a Wii U exclusive, GameSpot reports.

Speaking to Eidos Montreal executive game designer Jean-Francois Dugas during this year’s E3, GameStop got confirmation from Square Enix that Director’s Cut of Human Revolution is now a multiplatform release—so presumably PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, Xbox One and PS4 if we’re lucky (because I’ll take any excuse to have a convenient version of Human Revolution on hand to replay).

Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut updates the game’s graphics and features boss battles redeveloped in-house. For the original 2011 version of Human Revolution, Square Enix and Eidos Montreal outsourced the development of the Tyrant boss fights to GRIP Entertainment. The Director’s Cut will also come packaged with Tongue’s Rescue and The Missing Link DLC.

Square Enix has yet to announce a release date for the Director’s Cut.
