Deus Ex Sells Over 600k Units In Opening Week

Posted on September 2, 2011 AT 12:00am

THE BUZZ: Deus Ex: Human Revolution has managed to ship over 600,000 units during its first week of sales on all platforms.

WHAT WE KNOW: According to estimated worldwide sales figures that have just been released Deus Ex sold around 656,000 units during its first week on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The Xbox 360 version of the game sold best with around 348,000 units, the PlayStation 3 sold 228,000 units and the PC version managed 80,000.

EGM’s TAKE: This is an impressive figure for any game during its first week, however the major question is, what was Square-Enix’s sales target in order for the game to break even?

If you have tried Deus Ex did you enjoy it?
