The E3 2013 trailer for Deus Ex: The Fall shows off the mobile title’s Human Revolution-reminiscent combat.

The Fall is a follow-up to the Human Revolution prequel novel Icarus Effect by James Swallow. The mobile title puts players in control of Ben Saxon, one of the two protagonists from Icarus Effect. Seeing how the video shows Saxon interacting with members of the Tyrants, it would seem that The Fall is either a prequel to Human Revolution or a side-story—but not a sequel.

Deus Ex: The Fall launches on iOS devices sometime this summer for $6.99.
