THE BUZZ: Blizzard have confirmed that Diablo will be making a move to consoles in the future.

Blizzard Community Manager “Bashiok” confirmed that a Josh Mosqueira was lead designer on the project on Twitter:

“Yup. Josh Mosqueira is lead designer for the Diablo console project.”

EGM’s TAKE: Fans will either be leaping for joy at the thought of Diablo making the jump to consoles, or cringing in fear at the thought of how much it may damage the PC base of the franchise. What wasn’t said is if this directly reffered to Diablo III or some other yet untitled project.
