Diablo III

Blizzard has confirmed that an expansion for the highly successful Diablo III is in development, which should make fans clambering for new content very happy.

During an investor call yesterday Blizzard boss Mike Morhaime revealed that an expansion for the game is being worked on, but refused to offer up a release date. “So we do have a plan,” he said. “An expansion planned for Diablo. I don’t have any timeline to talk about. I think that the most important thing for us always comes down to the quality of the expansion and the gameplay, and so that will be a big factor in terms of driving our schedule.”

It was also announced in the call that Diablo III has sold over 10 million copies since launch.
