Blizzard has announced that Diablo III Eternal Collection will be coming to Nintendo Switch later this year.
The Eternal Collection is described as “the definitive edition” of the game and includes the Reaper of Souls expansion, the Rise of the Necromancer DLC, and all updates released on other platforms.
As well as everything found in other versions of the game, Nintendo Switch owners are getting some exclusive goodies. Players who pick up the game on Switch will get an exclusive transmogrification for Ganondorf’s armor, a Cucco companion pet, a Triforce portrait frame, and unique cosmetic wings.
Finally, Diablo III on Switch will have multiplayer support for up to four players via either local co-op on a single Nintendo Switch, linking systems together locally, or online through the Nintendo Switch Online service.
“The Eternal Collection is the definitive version of Diablo III, and we’re thrilled to team up with Nintendo to unleash it for Nintendo Switch gamers around the world later this year,” Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment, said. “Bringing the world together through epic entertainment is core to our mission at Blizzard—we can’t wait to welcome a new generation of demon-slayers to Sanctuary.”
Diablo III is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
