Diablo III‘s servers are currently offline to allow Blizzard to deploy patch 1.03 for the game.
The servers went down at 1:00 a.m. PDT this morning and are scheduled to be back up by 1:00 p.m. PDT this afternoon. The maintenance times for each area are below:
The Americas: 3:00 a.m. PDT (6/19) to 1:00 p.m. PDT (6/19)
Europe: 6:00 p.m. PDT (6/19) to 4:00 a.m. PDT (6/20)
Asia: 1:00 p.m. PDT (6/20) to 11:00 p.m. PDT (6/20)
Players will be unable to log-in until the patch has been deployed in their server’s time zone, if you are playing on a European server as an American then you will be unable to log-in until the patch has been deployed in Europe.
“If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed,” reads a statement from Blizzard. ”Additionally, if your home region is the Americas, you will be unable to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play after patch 1.0.3 is live until those regions have also patched.”
Patch 1.03 fixes drop rates, allowing the best items to drop in many different areas of the world. It also offers some balance changes to Inferno difficulty, creating a smoother gameplay experience.
