Blizzard has started rolling out patch 2.0.1 for Diablo III in the Americas. The update is due to hit Europe and Asia soon.
“Please note that you will not be prompted to download patch 2.0.1 until the patch is live in your home region,” the developer wrote. “If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed.
“Additionally, if your home region is in the Americas, you will be unable to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play after patch 2.0.1 is live until those regions have also patched.”
Patch 2.0.1 makes changes to the abilities of several bosses, makes a ton of class changes, makes difficulty level dynamic, adds the “Loot 2.0” system, add the “Paragon 2.0” system, and more. You can check out the full patch notes here.
Diablo III‘s first expansion, Reaper of Souls, is set to launch March 25.
