Diablo III Players Discover Game Breaking Bug Error 3006

Diablo III has been out for less than 24 hours and already players have encountered a game breaking bug that boots players out of the game and then prevents them from logging back in.

Basically if you decide to trade a shield to your Templar follower the game kicks you out and then displays a 3006 error message whenever you try to log back in, freezing you out of the game. According to the Battle.net forums the bug appears to be linked to the Demon Hunter class.

Blizzard has said that they are currently investigating the issue and has recommend that you do not trade any equipment to the Templar companion until you get the pop up saying that they are officially your companion. Bugs like this are common in just released games, we’re sure that Blizzard will find a fix as quickly as possible and push it live.
