That’s right, after a rocky launch and more error messages than you can shake a stick at, Diablo III‘s Real-Money Auction House is finally live.
Before you quit your job to become a Diablo tycoon, be sure to read through all the various rules and regulations connected with the RMAH, especially the one about needing an authenticated account. Hopefully this launch will go smoothly and there won’t be any more hacking incidents to undermine the value of virtual goods.
I think that spending real-money on a virtual weapon is insane. However, Diablo II had a thriving economy in which items would sell for thousands of dollars–luckily the RMAH enforces a $250 cap–so the demand must be there, I just don’t see what there is to gain from it.
Will you be using the RMAH?
