Diablo III‘s 15th season will get underway on September 21st, 2018, Blizzard has announced.
This season’s theme will offer a new buff that doubles all Horadric Caches earned from bounties, so each time players complete a full set of five bounties in an Act, they will get two Caches, instead of one. Blizzard shared the following notes about the buff:
- The bonus cache does benefit from difficulty level; it is essentially as though you completed twice the bounties.
- The rewards inside the Horadric Caches are otherwise unaffected; drop rates or the amount of individual rewards have not been altered.
- The bonus cache earned from Challenge Rifts is not affected; this is a separate type of cache.
As usual, Season 15 will introduce new cosmetic rewards, including the Chest and Glove slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set, a brand-new series of portrait frames, and Belphegor as a pet.
In other news, Blizzard recently announced that Diablo III will be coming to Nintendo Switch on November 2nd, 2018, complete with exclusive cosmetic items.
Diablo III is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
