Diablo

Diablo III‘s recent 2.3.4 update, otherwise known as the anniversary update, added support for Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro console.

According to the patch notes released yesterday, “support has been added for 4K output for the PS4 Pro.” Exact details of the upgrade were not shared. However, the good people over at NeoGAF have provided a few screenshots of the game running on the console.

Yesterday’s patch introduced a new event dungeon that is 16 levels deep and features the four main bosses from the first Diablo, the original music, and a new “Retrovision” graphics filter that makes the game look like the original and locks players to old-school eight-directional movement.

The update also adds a 64-bit client as default on PC, as well as class and item balance changes, bug fixes, a new enemy affix, and an improved dye system.

Diablo III is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
