Battlefield 3

THE BUZZ: With any FPS title cheaters will start to appear as time goes on. A wave of cheats has hit Battlefield 3 over the past few weeks, and now DICE has revealed that they have identified and dealt with most of these.

“We will be giving out accurate numbers but it´s safe to say that A LOT of ppl were caught cheating and dealt with,” said Daniel Matros, Community Manager at DICE. He also mentioned that details on the next patch for the game will be revealed soon when asked by a fan he replied, “Not right now. Hopefully soon :)”

EGM’s TAKE: Cheaters in games need to be dealt with quickly to avoid the online experience being ruined, if developers take too long to identify and remove cheats then honest players will lose faith and quit playing, which can be disastrous.
