Battlefield 3

DICE has announced that as a result of the success of the first Only in Battlefield 3 competition it has decided to start it again. If you wish to enter all you have to do is simply record your Battlefield 3 gameplay and follow a few simple rules.

There are a few changes happening this time around, the competition is now split into three different sections, which are:

• Battlefield 3 Close Quarters – Videos comprised entirely of footage taken while playing on Close Quarters maps
• Battlefield 3 Back to Karkand – Videos comprised entirely of footage taken while playing on Back to Karkand maps
• Battlefield 3 Overall – Videos comprised of footage from any Battlefield 3, Battlefield 3 Back to Karkand, or Battlefield 3 Close Quarters maps

There’s also no trip to DICE up for grabs this time, but to make it up to fans the developer is offering around $10,000 worth of prizes for winner of each category. The prizes include:

• One Personal Computer comprised of ASUS Sabertooth 990FX motherboard, AMD FX 8150 CPU, 8GB Kingston DDR3 RAM, Dual Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 in CrossFire, Silverstone Strider 1000W Modular Power Supply, 128GB Crucial M4 SSD, 1TB Western Digital HDD

• One Battlefield 3™ Razer Scarab
• One Battlefield 3™ Razer BlackShark
• One Battlefield 3™ Razer BlackWidow Ultimate
• One Battlefield 3™ Razer Messenger Bag

To enter the competition simply upload your video to YouTube and then email the link to vidcomp@dice.se by September 12, 2012, make sure to use the subject line “Only in Battlefield 3.” Be sure to include your full name, address, daytime phone number and date of birth.
