Lars Gustavsson, Creative Director at DICE, revealed that they have ”completely restructured” the studio around plans for Battlefield 3 add-on content. ”Nowadays, we have operations team who looks at the title when it starts getting closer to launch (or long before) with potential downloadable content and so on, to really have a plan,” he said. ”So, yes there is a massive plan in place.”
EGM’s TAKE: Year round support for Battlefield 3 is vital if the team is to take on Call of Duty which receives map packs and updates regularly.
