DICE producer reveals more details about Battlefield 3′s Battlelog
Posted on July 20, 2011 AT 06:16pm

Fredrick Loving, Battlelog producer at DICE, has given out a few new details about how the feature will work.
One aspect of the Battlelog will be the Battlefeed, which shows information such as current events taking place on your network, and details on what other players in your network are doing in Battlefield. You’ll also be able to not only see when a friend accomplishes achievements, but congratulate them when they do, or get a notice when they need help in a particular multiplayer match.
“The feed will encourage people to play even more,” Loving told Computer and Video Games. “They will see their friends ranking up, receiving awards they don’t have yet, or getting the new cool guns they have been missing. It will increase the competitive edge. Everything you do on the battlefield is shared amongst your friends.”
The Battlelog will of course also give detailed stat tracking and soldier progression information, so detailed that it’ll even tell you about every shot you’ve fired or every action you’re performed in your career.
