DICE Reveals that Battlefield 3 Beta Unlocks and Stats Will Not Carry Over

THE BUZZ: DICE has revealed that stats and unlocks earned during the Battlefield 3 beta will not carry over to the full game.
Alan Kertz, Senior Gameplay Designer at DICE, replied to a fan question about whether beta unlocks would carry over to the full game by saying: “No, we will use the beta feedback to tweak the full game.”
EGM’s TAKE: While it prevents anyone from gaining an advantage, we like the idea of unlocks that can carry over from the beta in the same way that weapon skins and titles did in Gears of War 3.
