THE BUZZ: Dice’s Alan Kertz has revealed that it will take 100 hours to unlock all weapons, attachments and gadgets in a single class.

Kertz revealed via Twitter that due to Battlefield 3′s numerous unlocks and new structure it will take 100 hours to unlock all the weapons, attachments and gadgets for a single class. The reason for this amount of time is because unlocks in battlefield 3 will be given on a per weapon basis, where each attachment must be unlocked for each weapon separately.

“If you unlock every weapon, every gadget, and every unlock for every weapon… something like 100 hours.”

EGM’s TAKE: Having hundreds of hours of unlocks in the game works well however some fans may get annoyed at having to unlock the same attachment for each weapon over and over again.
