This has been said a few times over the past couple of days but a few gamers are unhappy at the console footage that was shown of Battlefield 3, of course there are also a lot of people who were blown away by it, me included.

On twitter someone decided to ask Johan Andersson, Rendering Architect at Dice what he thought about these few gamers who were unhappy at the difference between the PC and console versions.

“dont u love how PS3 fluffers dont really understand game design?I love their comments on the ps3 footage thinking it can be = pc”

To which he replied;

“yeah some console gamers have really no idea what they are playing on or what a modern PC is capable of”

It is a good point to make, you’d be mad to think a console could replicate a top end PC’s performance.
