Nintendo Switch

Activision recently unveiled the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, a trio of Spyro games getting a full remaster later this year. While the official announcement only listed the game as in development for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, a pulled page from one of Nintendo’s sites hints that it may be coming to the Switch as well.

A listing for “Spyro the Dragon Remastered” briefly appeared on Nintendo’s U.K. website under the Switch section of the store. The listing gave a full description of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy and a price of £39.99 (approximately $56.33 US Dollars), so it seems to be more than just a placeholder. It also went up at the same time as the Activision’s official announcement of the game, which could be a hint that somebody on Nintendo’s end just messed up and revealed the game a bit too early. The listing has since been pulled, but Dot Esports managed to get a screenshot.

It’s worth noting that the listing doesn’t include a release date for the remastered trilogy, even though we know the date of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 release. It’s possible that the trilogy will arrive on the Switch at a later time than the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game, which might also explain why nothing was said about the Switch in the remaster trilogy’s initial announcement.

However, there has been no word from Activision yet, so remember to take the listing with a grain of salt.

The Spyro Reignited Trilogy releases on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 21st.
