Bandai Namco has announced that Digimon Survive will be coming to the West in 2019.
The game is described as a “survival simulation RPG” and puts players in the shoes of Takuma Momozuka, the leader of a brand-new group of teenagers who get lost on a school camping trip and find themselves in a mysterious world full of monsters. Watch the debut trailer below:
“As they fight their way back home through an animated world of difficult decisions and deadly battles, players’ choices throughout the game will impact the evolution of their monster allies, and the final ending,” the game’s description adds.
The game features 2D classic SRPG battles, characters designed by Uichi Ukumo, and music by Tomoki Miyoshi (I Am Setsuna, Lost Sphear).
Digimon Survive launches in 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
