THE BUZZ: Codemasters has released a new gameplay trailer for DiRT Showdown, introducing us to the world of Destruction Derby.

EGM’s TAKE: One of our favorite parts of Codemaster’s other racing title GRID was the Destruction Derby. We spent many hours of our lives smashing up cars in a myriad of different ways, and we can see the same thing happening in Showdown. This version of DiRT removes the more serious aspects of the previous titles and just gives us the fun adrenaline fueled game modes such as Gymkhana and Destruction Derby. If you’re after a fun few hours on the track it looks like DiRT Showdown will deliver it.
