Dishonored Can be Completed in 12 Hours

Arkane Studios has revealed that skilled players will be able to get through Dishonored‘s campaign in around 12 hours.

In a recent Bethesda Q&A, Arkane Studios estimated that the main campaign can be completed in 12-14 hours, however that’s by a skilled player rushing through the story. Co-creative directors Harvey Smith and Raphael Colantonio said in the Q&A, “very direct players will probably get through the game in 12 or 14 hours.”

If players take their time, explore the environment, and complete side missions, it will take twice as long to complete the game. It’s refreshing to see a campaign that lasts more than 10 hours in an action title. Arkane Studios has obviously put a lot of time and effort into creating a game that will keep fans interested for more than a day, and I applaud them for that.

There’s a lot of excitement surrounding Dishonored, I just hope that it can live up to the hype come release day.
