Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XII villain Vayne will be the first DLC character to join the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT roster.

“With a dizzying number of combo enders, Vayne has an answer to any situation,” the developer writes. “His EX skill Writ of Conquest provides his party with an array of buffs, helping secure dominion over their opponents. As Consul to the Archadian Emperor, Vayne will stop at nothing to see all who stand before him bend the knee. In the name of House Solidor, no sacrifice is too great.”

Take a look at Vayne in action in the trailer below:

Vayne will be free to download for owners of the game’s season pass, which is priced at $29.99 and grants access to six DLC characters. Players without the pass can purchase the character for $5.99.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is available now on PlayStation 4.
