THE BUZZ: BBC Worldwide has announced that Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will only be available for PlayStation 3 and Vita in Europe.

The title was revealed last December for the PlayStation 3, Vita and PC, however the game will only see a PC release in the U.S. according to the BBC.

EGM’s TAKE: The Eternity Clock will be the first fully fledged Doctor Who console game, so expectation is piling up on Supermassive Games. The title is said to be the first of three in a series of Doctor Who console games. Many fans are hoping for something that resembles the TV series in terms of story and looks, however this kind of series is very hard to translate to games due to its lack of pure combat. Hopefully the writers can put together a captivating story to keep players interested over three games, considering the difference in length between a TV episode and a good game.
