Doom 3 Source Code Released

THE BUZZ: id Software has released the official source code of Doom 3 to the general public.
There was a slight delay due to a legal issues involving a piece of technology in the game known as “Carmack’s Reverse” which is used for rendering shadows. This piece of code was developed by several programmers and Carmack had to rewrite the code before it could be released. The source code can be found here.
