Valve’s feature-length Dota 2 documentary Free to Play will launch on Steam worldwide March 19, the company announced today.

Free to Play revolves around the lives and careers of professional, international Dota 2 players Danylo “Dendi” Ishutin, Benedict “HyHy” Lim, and Clinton “Fear” Loomis leading up to the first competition to offer a $1 million prize to the winning team.

The film will also be shown publicly March 18 at the Castro Theater in San Francisco.

A Free to Play Competitor’s Pack for Dota 2 will accompany the release of the documentary. The downloadable content comes with equipment and skins created in collaboration between Valve and Dota 2 players.
