Double Fine Productions and several San Francisco-based indie developers will be hosting Day of the Devs, an indie event with free admission to anyone 21 and older, on November 2.
Double Fine, Supergiant, Honeyslug, Gaijin Games, Tribute Games, SpyParty, Capy Games, and iam8bit will have various games and ‘ware, including Transistor, Super Time Force, Broken Age, available to demo between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m at the Public Works in San Francisco.
If that’s not enough for you, Fez creator Phil Fish will also be at the event, serving as Day of the Dev’s DJ. “Tap your feet to the beat of Phil Fish with a one-of-a-kind DJ set,” reads the Day of the Dev official website.
Day of the Dev represents Double Fine’s desire to breakdown the barrier between developer and fans, as well as show off their Kickstarter-funded adventure game Broken Age to the public.
