THE BUZZ: Dr pepper has begun a promotion with EA to offer exclusive in-game Battlefield 3 content via promotional codes found on bottles of soda. The content will be accessible for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions of the game.

Each code will unlock one of six items, the Dr Pepper Multiplayer Skin, “6 Wolf Moon” Dogtag, “Bye Kitty” Dogtag, “Opener” Dogtag, “Roar” Dogtag and “Pile o’ Bones” Dogtag. PlayStation 3 gamers can also select the “Recon Class Full Bodysuit” for their Home avatar.

EGM’s TAKE: If you already drink Dr Pepper then enjoy your free items, however if you desperately want them then bottles doesn’t cost that much.
